The Cytometry Core Facility has acquired two new complementary conventional flow cytometers: a Symphony A3 & a Celesta Sorp.
The two cell analyzers have an equivalent architecture (VPX electronic card, laser, laser power, software) as well as equivalent filters on the B R V Y G base, with the same flexibility for the addition of non-standard filters. Such custom-made filters may be necessary for all current or future applications.
The standardization of instruments is possible with the Diva functions as well as the export of applications from one cytometer to another on the B R V Y G database. This will allow the use of compatible antibody panels between the two analyzers and thus lower consumable costs.
This equipment was financed by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER - 241 987,20€) and the CPER IT2MP (State-Region Plan Contract, Technological Innovations, Modeling & Personalized Medicine, BIOS BioIngenierie Platform for Health - 120 671,20€).
Many thanks to all the funders and also to the Biology Medicine Health (BMS) pole of the Université de Lorraine for their support in the acquisition of these new equipments!
Do not hesitate to contact the head of the core facility if you want to perform your future experiments on these new cytometers !
