The Bruker X8-Proteum diffractometer is suitable for measuring X-ray diffraction data of high quality and high resolution from single crystals of biological macromolecules. This device consists of a Bruker Microstar-H type microscope with a rotating anode with a power of 2700 W which is coupled to a Helios multilayer optical system. The device is completed by a KAPPA goniometer, a Bruker Platinum135 CCD detector and an Oxford CryoStream700 cryogenic system.
