The Cytometry platform of the Service Mutualisé de Plateforme and the IMoPA laboratory (CImIND team) are organising a symposium devoted to cellular metabolism, to be held on Monday 8 December 2025 at the Biopôle (room 1A10).

Coordinated by Pr Natalia De Isla and Dr Huguette Louis, the aim of this event is to bring together the campus's scientific community, showcase the diversity of local expertise and encourage exchanges on analytical and methodological approaches dedicated to the study of cellular metabolism.

Doctoral students and researchers from the various laboratories will briefly present their work, focusing on the tools, experimental techniques, platforms, instruments and bioinformatics approaches used to analyse cellular metabolism.

The symposium will also welcome two major guests:

• Prof. Celia Quijano (Department of Biochemistry and CEINBIO - Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay), an international specialist in cellular metabolism ;
• Christophe Iochem (Product Specialist, Cell Analysis - Agilent Technologies), who will present the possibilities offered by the Seahorse and Cytation 10 systems.
