Gallios

Specifications

The Gallios is equipped with 3 lasers fixed alignment, separated spatially. The boulevard-type optical bench allows fluorescence transmission close to 100%. It can measure up to 10 fluorescence parameters. It is possible to adapt the collection angle of diffracted light to the size of the elements analyzed by 2 independent photodiodes. It is thus possible to distinguish between them sub-micron particles (0.4 and 0.5 μm). The carousel tube feeder analyzes automatically up to 32 tubes.

Before each analysis the sample is resuspended by means of an incorporated vortex. The maximum acquisition rate is 25 000 events per second and up to 24 106 events stored per file (this figure varies depending on the number of parameters saved).

The Gallios electronic system features a self-correcting temperature control system: 1) To adjust temperature variability ; 2) to minimize linearity errors as a function of temperature changes.
