DSC

Specifications

The microcalorimeter with temperature scanning (Microcal VP-DSC model) is mainly dedicated to the study of the thermal stability of macromolecules and their complexes. By measuring the variation of the heat capacity (ΔCp) as a function of the temperature (from -10 to 130 °C), the DSC allows the direct determination of the variations of enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS), and the half-transition temperature (Tm) associated with each structural transition.
