The Glacios 2 is a 200 kV Cryo transmission electron microscope (Cryo-TEM), equipped with a X-FEG electron source. It enables high-resolution observation of biological objects in vitrified form on grids. It can also be used to screen samples on grids, thanks to cassettes containing up to 12 grids. It supports multiple applications such as single particle analysis (SPA), cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET), micro-electron diffraction (MicroED), or negative staining electron microscopy. It is equipped with a CETA-D camera with CMOS sensor and is controlled by Smart EPU software.
